Renewing A Damaged Door
The door to my new office was in sad shape.
Forty years of abuse resulted in peeling
veneer over a large portion of the door's
surface.
The choice was to take it down and refinish
it, or find a solution.
The solution: Wall Pops, a framed Audrey Hepburn postee, and vinyl black cutouts.

Kindle Fire
I spent some quality time with my Kindle Fire last night. I love it!
The internet is fast, the touch screen is fat finger friendly, the
video streaming is amazing and my books from my original Kindle
magically appeared. However, for serious reading the e-ink on the
original is friendlier to the eyes and will remain my first choice
as a reading device. I am glad my books are available on both
devices; I was't sure that would be the case. I am a happy camper!

The Chronicles of Lindia: Local Color

I love local color, especially when local color is a one-of-kind restaurant.
My favorite spot this trip is: The Inlet Harbor
Restaurant located on Ponce Inlet. The decor
is old Florida at its best. Patrons can drive up or
boat in, eat inside or out on a brightly colored covered deck on the water.
The burgers and cheese steaks are wonderful
and so is the live music.
My second pick is The Garlic in New Smyrna Beach. This
restaurant has great Italian food served with some of
the best fresh baked bread I have tasted in a long time.
Terrific atmosphere (a lizard ran up one of the trees on the
palm tree shaded patio) and great eclectic live music.
Old Florida charm, delicious food, and good music are tough to beat!

The Chronicles of Lindia: An Entrepreneurial Spirit!
We took The Manatee River Cruise on the Intracoastal Water Way the other day.
While cruising on the boat of an entrepreneur (In addition to the family run cruise, they sold drinks and snacks reasonably priced on the honor system during the two hour cruise). We sailed past a boat that made me laugh. A floating snack bar!
He/She is meeting a need. I especially liked it when the boat chugged over to the Redneck Yacht Club, the local’s name for boaters who dock on a sand bar.
I love an entrepreneurial spirit!
I stumbled across a article by Marshall Goldsmith in Bloomberg Business Week that sums up my philosophy very well:
“ I realize we cannot all be entrepreneurial in the sense that we can't all start our own companies; I believe we can all be entrepreneurial in terms of how we approach our own careers.”
Well said!
